Fear not, for I bring you Good news of Great Joy. Jesus is the good news.
What a theater performance Steve Munsi put up for the crowd. And Joel Osteen also, people just love his stuff. They all the same. Even Jesus himself, that friend of sinners, sitting with drunkards and talking with prostitutes. The other day at someones wedding, he turned water into wine. Can you imagine? People are drowning and he walks on water? What was he thinking? He even ruined a rich man’s pigs business, when he cast out demons from a crazy man.
And whats this healing the sick on a Sabbath day I heard? We really need to get rid of this man. 30 Pieces of silver would seal the deal. We already checked out his accountant. Would be easy as pie. Come Friday look for the kiss. All is set, we not risking another adulterous fiasco. This time we will hit the nails on his hands and feet. And put him in the middle of those miserable thieves. That would make a nice front page photo. Whatever it takes we need to preserve out tradition and status quo.
Friday came and it was a bloody show, but when they lifted the king of the Jews, the light of the world went out. This was God’s foolish plan to save a dying humanity. Dead and buried the healer was laid to rest. All he did was good, but they paid him with evil currency. It was finished. But not God’s plan, written and spoken long ago when Hosea said after two days will he revive, and on the 3rd day will he arise and live again. And so it happened when Christ rose from the dead to fully restore hope for eternal life, for everyone, who would believes in his salvation name.
The devils shamed lost and defeated, but Jesus Christ won his Fathers love and attention when he said: This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Do the same and praise his name, give thanks to God for his gift and grace, while you still have a chance to change your mind and destiny. Heavens refreshments are so much better than a summers day boiling without shade or shelter. Joy to the world a Savior king was born. And peace to him who will come again. Bethlehem star, my morning star, you will always shine brighter than the many lights of all the world.
Three, Two, One, the story has begun.
Two is better than One, and a Three-fold cord twist together, is power.
Three men were sentenced to death, Two thieves deserving their pay,
but One, a king they only wished away.
Betrayed by a kiss of a friend and for 30 pieces of silver,
justice was marred on that ancient day.
Three men would die a horrible death, Two for a life of crime,
but One, for humankind.
Three bodies bruised and broken, Two were caught, guilty as hell,
but One, innocent like a lamb,
Three souls departed that afternoon, Two destined for paradise,
but One slipped and fell to Hades down below.
Three men were laid to rest, Two from dust to dust,
but One from dusk to dawn, would rise again.
Three days later, Two graves still sealed and silent,
but One tombstone rolled away.
And when Jesus walked out alive, death and hell were defeated,
triumphant he was for everyone.
An empty grave and angels choir.
The good news of the gospel has eternal power.
God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son,
whosoever believes in him, will never perish, but also live forever.
What is Lovewins 101?
Lovewins looks at relationship issues that face our society today through biblical standards set in God's Word. From the fall of innocence, back to the restoration of holiness with God. Lovewins also explores practical ways, how you can love your neighbor and your enemies, as Jesus commands. You are not your own, but you are his, bought with a price. Lovewins is full of scripture and common sense to be salt and light and is much influenced by the confrontation between the grace of Jesus towards sinners, and the righteous law of Moses found in John 8 which I believe was the transferring of covenants from law to grace.
Here we see Jesus confronted by Moses who points to the law without mercy, before Christ the Lamb of God, who was slain before the foundations of the world. But God did not send his son to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He taught men to obey, to love and to show mercy. Confronted with holy men of the law and an adulterous on death row, what would be his response? A woman caught in adultery. The penalty is death. Instead of executing her, they took her to Jesus to get his opinion, but in reality, she is their perfect bait to trap him. He is faced with a legal situation. The law says, but what do you say they demanded? What comes after the verdict, is what separated Jesus from everyone else. His teachings often stunned the crowd, and angered the experts in law and religion. With stones in their hands, they waited for his approval. Adultery punishable by death, PERIOD. There were no exceptions. But when he answered them, they all left with heads hanging and stones dropping. None could pull the plug, flip the switch, or pull the trigger.
Perhaps you know the story. If you understand the story, you will also appreciate the mission of God son to earth. God did not send Christ to condemn the world but to save it. For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten son that whosoever will believe in him, will be saved. That is why Jesus thought twice before speaking. The mob wasn’t your dancing singing crowd, but they were hoping for a swift act of justice without mercy. Whoever is without sin, let him cast the first stone, Jesus said. But all have sinned, and they all have fallen short of the glory of God. Convicted of their own transgressions, they departed from the scene. There before this woman stood a perfect man. Would he be the first or would he be the last? But instead, he let her go free and said: Go, and sin no more. His kindness dropped me to the floor. His grace lifted me to a higher place. Read the whole story found in the Gospel of John 8. Now this is where you come into the story like me and everybody else when we face the Abortionist, the Adulterous, the Fornicator, the Liars. Read the Ten Commandments and see they all deserve death. God is clear on his law. But God does not want any to perish, therefore made he a way that is foolish to the wise, and to common for the proud. If only they could see what’s on the other side of that rugged cross, they too would perhaps seek the light. Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand, that all your sins may be blotted out, and not your name from the Book of Life. God is Love #Lovewins and never fails.

On Saturday afternoon, 19th May 2018, a fire burned out of control and caused total damage to the homemade shelters of a small community on the outskirts of Paris. It happened in the 12th district, and left over 50 homeless overnight. The sight was under Police guard, which prohibited any of its inhabitants from returning. It was not clear if the residents, would be able to return, but since the site has been declared unsafe, it seems highly unlikely.
No deaths have been reported, and no one was seriously injured. It is fortunate that all escaped without any injury. The cause of the fire is still unclear, and seems accidental. Regardless, the blame will rest on the inhabitants.
This small community of people are all of Romain origin. They have been granted special permission by the owners of the Commercial property about 5 months ago during the cold winter to stay on this vacant lot on the edge. The place is situated on line T3 next to Baron le Roy stop.
The community last night grabbed whatever belongings they could carry with them. From across the main road, they watched anxiously how the firefighters and Police were taking care of the situation. But the kids were running around and like little children seemed to make the world a better place even when disaster strikes. After 5 hours of tense waiting, the community finally realized that they would no longer be able to go back to get any other belongings. Safety does take preeminence over comfort in the French society who has proven themselves as a kind and generous people overall. Sadly last night the reality of loving your neighbor if they were Romain, has also been witnessed.
Families with little children, babies, and some pregnant woman were left unattended during the whole ordeal. No help came for them. I saw one man working tirelessly making calls and another. After midnight half was gone. Could not say where too. My heart wants to believe some relief came by the back door that allowed the woman with children and babies to have a shelter for the night. It also depended on the people themselves to accept help, if the wanted it. The comfort zone of culture always plays a dominant role, regardless of humanitarian aid.
Traffic was interrupted during this time until Police received the signal from the Pompiers (Firemen) that the traffic flow can start again. There were many Fire engines and dozens of Police filling this main road. Thank God it was not a terror attack or a public disaster. But you can’t help to think what this place would have looked like if it were not the despised outcasts of Europian pride. This community living peacefully next to me, now are homeless again, and their desperate situation does not stir or move the hearts of everyone. There were precious of opportunity to do good. Food for the kids. They loved the dry bread and tea. Some adults were so grateful for a small cup of coffee, but they prefer tea like the Queen. Simple people, thieves at best, but still Parisian. Their area of living was always clean, and they shared one toilet at the opposite end of the yard. Weekends were for party, but weekdays life went on as usual. Sometimes you see them, and other times they are gone, to prison or somewhere else.
What if Jesus were a Romain stranger, hungry, naked, in prison or sick? Would you turn a deaf ear and a blind eye too? There are times even I wondered. But when a tragedy like this struck in a French or Europian community, you the world of love and generosity come to life as they help their neighbor and strangers alike. Why not be the good Samaritan? He did not pass the beaten down stranger, but in his kindness reached out to bind up the wounds afflicted by robbers, and provided shelter and care for this man who no longer had a purse or a walking stick, until he would recover to find another vacant?
The hardest thing though is to keep walking in love. God warns us that in the end times the love of many will turn cold, for lawlessness will abide. People will only love themselves rather than to obey and to follow God’s way. You may have failed miserably, but by his Word, his love is restored and perfected in you like fresh bread and a cup of tea. #Lovewins when you can say: My love is patient, and my love is kind, not jealous, boastful or proud. My love is not rude or selfish, nor easily angered, and also keeps no record of wrong. My love does not take pleasure in the evil of others but finds its joy in the truth. My love endures all things, and faithfully believes without end, and in hope continues, and it will forever endure. My love wins because love never fails. My love comes from heaven above. His love is my love.
In memory of a woman who did something very special worth remembering.
The Prophet and the ProstituteThe whole room lid up with the sweet aroma of her perfume as she broke the alabaster jar and made her intentions clear. She was going to pour out every single drop of her costly perfume on this holy man of God. Her reputation was well known by many. She is the woman who would have reached prime time on Cheaters for having Sex in the City.
But when she heard Jesus was in her town, she went out to meet him and like the wise men of old she came prepared - with her jar filled with precious perfume to worship him. For she was a woman in need of love and forgiveness, and his reputation as a holy man of God superseded her status as the harlot of that town. So she brought her precious gift, in a time when he was in need of a particular ritual in preparation for the most significant act of love the world would ever witness.
I don't know her name, but she caused quite a stir when she took that vase filled with expensive perfume and poured it on the head and feet of Jesus while he was eating with a prominent religious figure of the community. How she got inside no one knows. What was she thinking, no one knew except him to whom she came? If Jesus was anything like celebrities today his bodyguards would have taken her down and out the door into the local police jail. His disciples also were not very flattery as one remarked - what a waste they complained exposing their empty hearts, we could have taken the perfume and sold it to feed the poor? But Jesus holy as he was, never shunt a sinner out the door. Leave her alone he said, she has anointed me for my burial. And I tell you this day, what she did for me, will be shared around the world in memory of her.
For that reason, Jesus not only defended the woman of disgrace but also promised her that she would be remembered whenever the gospel will be preached. And so all 4 gospels recorded her intense moment with the Lord and Lover of her soul.
So when one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to his house and sat down at the table to eat. A woman in that town who lived a sinful life heard that Jesus was eating at this Pharisee’s house, and decided to go there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
But when the Pharisee who invited him saw this, he said to himself, If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is - that she is a sinner. But Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” Tell me, teacher, he said.
So Jesus said; Two people owed money to a particular money lender. One owed him 500 in currency, and the other 50. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more? Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven. You have judged correctly.
Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little. Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” And while the other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
